Sarina Kaplan is a Shareholder in the Industrial and Consumer Product Liability Practice Group in the Philadelphia office of Lavin, OíNeil, Cedrone & DiSipio. She concentrates her practice on automotive product liability, industrial and consumer product liability, automotive warranty litigation, and toxic tort litigation.
Ms. Kaplan is admitted to the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York; including the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey.
Ms. Kaplan has been recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star each year since 2013. Ms. Kaplan is presently a member of the Pennsylvania, New York and American Bar Associations and a member of the American Bar Associationís Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section.
Ms. Kaplan earned her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Douglass College, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was admitted to the National Political Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha. She also delivered the Douglass College Commencement Speech after being awarded the Edele Nielsen Prize in Speech.
Ms. Kaplan earned her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, where she served as Research and Writing Editor of the Journal of Law and Religion. Ms. Kaplan was awarded a Henry J. Raimondo Legislative Fellowship by the Eagleton Institute of Politics, which involved studying legislative policymaking and working for the New Jersey Office of Legislative Services.
Prior to joining the Lavin firm, Ms. Kaplan was a defense attorney practicing motor vehicle and commercial premises litigation. Ms. Kaplan also served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Craig L. Wellerson, J.S.C., Civil Division, Burlington County, New Jersey.
