Michael J. Kincade, Jr. (Mickey) is an associate in the Industrial and Consumer Product Liability and Toxic Torts practice groups in the Philadelphia office of Lavin, O’Neil, Cedrone & DiSipio. He has experience managing cases from the initial pleading stage and through discovery, trial and appeal in both state and federal court. He has also prepared various successful dispositive motions and appellate briefs involving tort and civil rights claims.

Mr. Kincade received a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Boston College in 2006. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2009. During law school, Mr. Kincade was an intern for the Insurance Fraud Section of the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. He was also a member of the Villanova Moot Court Board.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Kincade was an associate for a small Chester County law firm, where his practice was devoted to the defense of public and private employers in labor and employment issues and civil rights claims, including claims filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board. He also previously served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Richard J. Hodgson of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Kincade is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Kincade is a New Orleans native and currently resides in southern New Jersey with his wife and step son.
